Int. GT Open Barcelona: race report.
Joel Camathias scored important points at Barcelona.
Swiss GT race winner, Joel Camathias (28), alongside his Swiss team-mate Marcel Fässler (33), driving the # 5 ACM Trottet Racing Ferrari F430 GTC, finished 2nd in Saturday Race 1 and finished 9th in Sunday Race 2 due to a tyre puncture. Swiss duo did in both races, thanks also to an extreme performing car, an excellent job. They are still leading the overall standing but with “only” 19 points difference.
“We had a good racing weekend, but as we saw, it`s “easy” to lose championship points. We will try our best to succeed next week in Portimao for the last two races of the season. As always I like to thank my extraordinary team [ACM Trottet Racing], you are great guys!, and my super team-mate [Marcel Fässler]”.
We will see Joel back in action with ACM Trottet Racing squad on November 7th and 8th at the eight and last round of the International GT Open at Portimao (Portugal).
